Early Swine Flu Symptoms

Sore and scratchy throat

The swine flu symptoms are similar to those of other strains of flu but often can be more severe. One of the first signs of the swine flu is a sore and scratchy throat that seems to happen immediately.

Fever, Chills and Muscle Pain

Also, a high fever, a temperature reading over 100.5 degrees F (38.05 degrees C) accompanied by the chills and muscle pain are early flu symptoms. Lack of appetite and a lackluster feeling may indicate a swine flu infection.

Unusual Fatigue, diarrhea

Unusual fatigue and the desire to continually sleep or rest are typical reactions from someone inflicted with the disease. In some cases, diarrhea and vomiting may occur.
